फोरेंसिक साइन्स क्या है? (What is forensic science?)
भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकार के विज्ञान का उपयोग करके न्यायिक प्रक्रिया (Judicial system) की सहायता करने वाले प्रश्नों का उत्तर देना फोरेंसिक साइन्स (Forensic science) या न्यायिक विज्ञान है. ये न्यायिक प्रश्न किसी अपराध या सिविल मामले से संबन्धित हो सकते हैं. इसमें फोरेंसिक एक्सपर्ट अपराध हो जाने के बाद मौजूद सबूतों को खोजते हैं जैसे फिंगरप्रिंट, बाल, लार, जूते के निशान, टायर के निशान, खून के निशान जैसी कई सारी चीजे. इनसे सबूत जुटा कर ये पता लगाने की कोशिश करते हैं की अपराध क्यों, कैसे और किसने किया है.
फोरेंसिक साइन्स में करियर (Forensic science career)
फोरेंसिक एक्सपर्ट (Forensic expert) की जॉब किसी कॉर्पोरेट जॉब की तरह नहीं होती है जिसमें आपको रोजाना एक ही काम करना है. इसमें हर दिन एक नए अपराध के साथ में एक नया चैलेंज होता है. अगर आपको अपराध की गुत्थियां सुलझाना अच्छा लगता है तो ही आप इस फील्ड में आए. इस फील्ड में ऑफिस टाइम लिमिट भी नहीं होती है. जब तक किसी अपराध का पूरी तरह पता नहीं लगता आप इससे जुड़े रहते हैं.

फोरेंसिक एक्सपर्ट कैसे बनें? (How to become forensic expert?)
फोरेंसिक एक्सपर्ट (Forensic expert) बनने के लिए सबसे पहले तो आपको 12वी बायो सब्जेक्ट के साथ कम से कम 60 प्रतिशत अंकों से पास करनी है. इसके बाद ही आप फोरेंसिक साइन्स से संबन्धित डिप्लोमा, डिग्री या पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट प्रोग्राम में भाग ले सकते हैं.

फोरेंसिक एक्सपर्ट बनकर यदि आप सरकार के अधीन काम करते हैं तो आपको अच्छा वेतन मिलता है. यहां आप 6 से 8 लाख रुपये सालाना पा सकते हैं. यदि आपका अनुभव और काम अच्छा है तो आप इससे भी ज्यादा सैलरी पा सकते हैं. इसे एक हाई सैलरी वाला सेक्टर माना जाता है.
