पोस्ट ऑफिस की टाइम डिपाॅजिट स्कीम टैक्स बचाने का एक बेहतरीन उपाय है. इसमें आप एक मुश्त धनराशि को इनवेस्ट कर सकते हैं और ब्याज कमा सकते हैं. (Save tax with fd) इस स्कीम में आप 1, 2, 3 और पांच सालों के लिए इनवेस्ट कर सकते हैं.
इस स्कीम में आपको सालाना लगभग 5.5% प्रतिशत तक ब्याज मिलता है जो किसी सेविंग अकाउंट के मुकाबले दोगुना है. ये इंट्रेस्ट रेट हर साल बदलता रहता है. टैक्स बचाने के मामले में भारतीय डाक विभाग का कहना है कि आप पांच के टीडी के तहत निवेश आयकर अधिनियम 1961 की धारा 80 सी के (Is FD covered under 80c?) तहत टैक्स में छूट का लाभ उठा सकते हैं.

2. सीनियर सिटीजन सेविंग स्कीम Senior Citizen saving scheme
इस योजना के लिए सीनियर सिटीजन यानि जिनकी उम्र 60 साल या उससे ज़्यादा है वे इसका फायदा उठा सकते हैं. इस योजना में आपको प्रतिवर्ष 8.7 प्रतिशत ब्याज मिलता है.(Is senior citizen saving scheme tax free?) ये 31 मार्च/ 30 सितंबर/ 31 दिसंबर को जमा करने की तिथि से देय होगी और उसके बाद ब्याज 31 मार्च, 30 जून, 30 सितंबर और 31 दिसंबर को देय होगी. अगर आपकी इनवेस्ट की गई राशि 10 हजार से ज़्यादा है तो प्रतिवर्ष टीडीएस ब्याज पर काट ली जाती है. 3. पब्लिक प्रोविडेंट फंड Public provident fund
ये योजना पोस्ट ऑफिस की बेस्ट योजनाओं में से एक है. यहां आप एक अच्छा ब्याज तो कमा ही सकते हैं साथ ही टैक्स में छूट का लाभ भी उठा सकते हैं. (What is the benefit of PPF account?) इस योजना में आपको 8 प्रतिशत सालाना ब्याज मिलता है. इसमें आप 100 रूपए से खाता खोल सकते हैं. लेकिन एक वित्तीय वर्ष में आपको कम से कम 500 रूपए तक जमा करना है. इंडिया पोस्ट के मुताबिक आप इसमें 80 सी के तहत टैक्स में छूट पा सकते हैं.

4. नेशनल सेविंग सर्टिफिकेट National saving certificate
ये भी पोस्ट ऑफिस की बेहतरीन योजनाओं में एक है.Is NSC a good investment? इसमें इनवेस्ट करने पर आपको 8 प्रतिशत ब्याज मिलता है. इसके तहत जमा आय पर 80 सी के तहत छूट मिलती है. इसमें सालाना 8 पर्सेंट ब्याज होता है लेकिन समय सीमा तय होती है.
