नर्सरी को तीन भागों में बांटा गया है.
रिटेल प्लांट नर्सरी
इस तरह की नर्सरी को अच्छी कमाई करने के लिए बनाया जाता है. इसमें कोई एक व्यक्ति बहुत सारे लोगों को एक साथ पौधों की बिक्री कर देते हैं. जैसी किसी एक पूरी बिल्डिंग में पौधे लगाना, ऑफिस में पौधे लगाना. तो उसी हिसाब से ये लोग नर्सरी को तैयार करते हैं. ये एक बड़ी जगह में एक साथ पौधों का उत्पादन करते हैं और इस प्रकार की नर्सरी को रिटेल नर्सरी कहा जाता है.

इस प्रकार की नर्सरी में बागवानी की जरूरत होती है. इस तरह की नर्सरी में आप ग्राहक को बागवानी की सर्विस देते हैं. आप घर से बाहर उनके गार्डन में पौधे लगाने की ज़िम्मेदारी तथा उनके पालन-पोषण की ज़िम्मेदारी लेते हैं. आप उनके कहे अनुसार उनके गार्डन में पौधे लगाते हैं.

इस तरह की नर्सरी बनाने के लिए आपको बहुत ज्यादा निवेश करना होता है. इस तरह की नर्सरी में बड़े पैमाने पर पौधों का उत्पादन किया जाता है क्योंकि इस तरह की नर्सरी अपने उत्पादों को व्यावसायिक किसानों, सरकारी प्रोजेक्टों में लाग्ने वाले पौधों को उपलब्ध कराया जाता है. इसके अलावा इस तरह की नर्सरी छोटी नर्सरी को कम दाम पर अपने पौधे बेचती है.
नर्सरी के लिए जरूरी योग्यता (Ebility for nursery business)
नर्सरी बिजनेस करना जितना आसान दिखाई देता है उतना आसान है नहीं. इसके लिए कुछ जरूरी योग्यताओं की जरूरत होती है. तब जाकर आप इसमें लाभ कमा सकते हैं. – सबसे पहले तो आपको इसमें अलग-अलग किस्म के पौधों की जानकारी होनी चाहिए जिसकी लोगों को जरूरत होती है. – आपको अलग-अलग पौधों की बुवाई, सिंचाई उनके लिए उर्वरक आदि की जानकारी होनी चाहिए. – उन पौधों पर लगने वाले कीट की जानकारी तथा उन्हें मारने वाली दवाओं की जानकारी भी होनी चाहिए. – इन सभी के साथ आपको इस बात की भी जानकारी होनी चाहिए की आप जो पौधे उगा रहे हैं उन्हें कहां बेचेंगे और किस तरह बेचेंगे. आपने जो नर्सरी बनाई है आप उसकी मदद से ज्यादा से ज्यादा कमाई कैसे करेंगे.
नर्सरी का बिजनेस जोखिम के अधीन नहीं है क्योंकि इसमें आप अपने दिमाग के आधार पर अच्छी कमाई कर सकते हैं. इसमें अच्छी कमाई के लिए आपको ये रिसर्च करनी होगी की आप जिस शहर में नर्सरी खोल रहे हैं वहां पर किस तरह के पौधों की मांग है. इसके अलावा यदि वहां कोई बड़ी बिल्डिंग बन रही है या ऑफिस आदि बन रहे हैं तो आप उनके लिए भी काम कर सकते हैं. आप किसी बिल्डिंग बनाने वाले कांट्रैक्टर से भी बात कर सकते हैं पौधों के सप्लाई के लिए. इस तरह आप अपने नर्सरी के बिजनेस में काफी आगे तक जा सकते हैं.
