आधार नंबर की तरह ही आधार वर्चुअल आईडी (Aadhaar virtual id) होती है, लेकिन दोनों में थोड़ा सा अंतर होता है. आधार नंबर 12 अंकों का होता है वहीं वर्चुअल आईडी 16 अंकों की होती है.
आधार नंबर और आधार वर्चुअल आईडी काम भी एक जैसा करती है, लेकिन इसमें थोड़ा सा फर्क है. आप अपना आधार नंबर जीवनभर बदल नहीं सकते जबकि अपनी वर्चुअल आईडी आप कभी भी बदल सकते हैं. इसका मतलब ये हुआ की आपने यदि किसी को अपनी वर्चुअल आईडी दी है तो आप ये तय कर सकते हैं की सामने वाला उसका उपयोग कब तक कर सकता है.
आधार वर्चुअल आईडी कैसे बनाएं? (How to generate aadhaar virtual id?)
– आधार वर्चुअल आईडी (aadhaar virtual id) बनाना काफी आसान है. इसके लिए सबसे पहले आपको आधार की वेबसाइट (https://uidai.gov.in/) पर जाना होगा. – इसके बाद “My Aadhaar” ऑप्शन पर क्लिक करें. इसमें आपको “Aadhaar Service” ऑप्शन दिखाई देगा और उसी के अंदर आपको “Virtual ID (VID) Generator” दिखाई देगा. उस पर क्लिक करें. – अब आपके सामने एक छोटा सा फॉर्म खुलेगा. इसमें आपको अपना 12 अंकों का आधार नंबर और Captcha Code फ़िल करना है. इसके बाद Send OTP पर क्लिक करना है. – अब आपके रजिस्टर्ड मोबाइल नंबर पर एक OTP आयेगा. इसे फिल करें. – अब आपके सामने दो ऑप्शन रहेंगे. Generate VID तथा Retrieve VID. अगर आप नई VID बनाना चहट्टे हैं तो Generate VID पर क्लिक करें. अगर आप पुरानी वाली VID जानना चाहते हैं तो Retrieve VID पर क्लिक करें. वर्चुअल आईडी आपके मोबाइल नंबर पर एसएमएस के जरिये आ जाएगी.
आधार वर्चुअल आईडी के फायदे (Aadhaar virtual id benefit)
आधार वर्चुअल आईडी (aadhaar virtual id) का सीधा सा फायदा ये है कि जो लोग आपसे आपके आधार की डिटेल मांगते हैं उन्हें आप अपना आधार नंबर देते हैं तो वे कभी भी आपके आधार नंबर के जरिए उसका दुरुपयोग कर सकते हैं. इसकी जगह पर आप वर्चुअल आईडी देते हैं तो आप इसको कभी भी बदल सकते हैं, जिस दिन आपने इसे बदल दिया उसके बाद सामने वाला कभी इसे उपयोग नहीं कर पाएगा. यानी आपके VID को बदल देने के बाद पुरानी वाली VID अवैध हो जाती है.

आधार वर्चुअल आईडी का इस्तेमाल आप कई जगह पर कर सकते हैं, जैसे सरकारी सबसिडी पाने के लिए, नया बैंक अकाउंट खुलवाने के लिए, पासपोर्ट के लिए आवेदन करने के लिए, बीमा पॉलिसी लेने के लिए. इनके अलावा जहां पर भी आधार की जगह पर VID की मांग की जा रही हो आप वहां पर वर्चुअल आईडी दे सकते हैं. इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ेगा.
